“Sunshowers” is the second single from M.I.A.’s critically acclaimed album Arular and her first official release with XL Recordings (see 2004 in music). It is written by Maya Arulpragasam, Ross Orton, Steve Mackey, August Darnell and Stony Jr. Browder and produced by Maya Arulpragasam, Nesreen Shah, Steve Mackey, Ross Orton and Anthony Whiting. The song samples Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band’s “Sunshower”.
