windows phone 7 microsoft has just released the latest version of their mobile operating system to compete with googles android and apples iphone OS.

Windows Phone 7 is only three days old but leaked documents from Microsoft supposedly showing developer requirements have turned up thanks to XDADev.

Its astounding that until this moment three years after the iPhone the biggest software company in the world basically didnt compete in mobile. windows phone 7 is a move away from windows previous mobile.

We expect to learn a lot more about Microsofts plan to entice developers to Windows Phone 7 at the MIX 2010 developers conference.

What do you do if you really want a Windows Phone 7 handset but prefer PlayStation to Xbox 360 Microsoft may end up catering for you too with a senior product manager on the mobile division musing on the possibility.
